Actress Anne Hathaway is the new ambassador for the French cosmetics makeup behemoth Lancome and has been called the new face of Lancome for 2008.
Hathaway, aged 24, became a familiar face for millions of moviegoers after her starring role in Garry Marshall’s 2001 hit The Princess Diaries. Now Hathaway will also be known as the brand ambassador for a new fragrance Lancome will launch later this year.
Style File reports that Hathaway’s main responsibilities have yet to be announced, but that they will start from September anyway.
Just what the actress’s role will entail has yet to be announced, but her duties will begin in September and continue for an undisclosed period of time.
