New Thierry Mugler Cosmetics Line

New Line French fashion designer Thierry Mugler has released a new cosmetic collection called The Art of Metamorphosis: A Line of Make Up, which is available for sale in online stores nationwide.

The Beauty Bunny reports that The Art of Metamorphosis: A Line of Make Up line contains three items: Cils Vinyle, Flash Lips and Hyper Tension.

French fashion designer Thierry Mugler scored a hit in the beauty world with his fragrance Angel - now he’s releasing a new luxury makeup line called “The Art of the Metamorphosis” (must be a French thing…) Here’s a couple of the standouts: * Cils Vinyle: A black vinyl gloss meant to be painted on each individual eyelash, $49 (Perhaps inspired by Too Faced Lash Injection?) * Flash Lips: A lip primer to prep lips for color, $39 * Hyper Tension: A face tightening cream, $90

According to bellasugar, after releasing hit fragrances Angel and Alien, Mugler is now launching a collection of luxury cosmetics.

The design, of course, is pure Mugler: hard-edged, sleek, and otherworldly. (The website is filled with stars and moons and planets.) For all of its intergalactic branding, the concept feels weirdly retro to me; it seems like an ’80s interpretation of what 2008 would feel like, all cold android chic.

The retail prices for the items in this collection range from $39 to $90.
