Murad Inc. has named Joan Lunden, the host of the “Good Morning America” show for almost two decades, as the face of its newly launched Resurgence fragrance. Lunden hosts the company’s new 30-minute infomercial.

HAPPI reports that in this new 30 - minute infomercial, Lunden speaks with Murad founder, dermatologist Howard Murad, M.D, and “Melrose Place” alum Josie Bissett, who joins a chorus of real women who share their Resurgence success stories.

According to the company, Dr. Murad presents compelling research on hormonal aging during interviews with Ms. Lunden, and describes the project as “a vehicle to teach women about hormonal aging and how to take charge of their skin’s health. We’re so proud that Joan is a fan of the product because we know she’s a woman that other women trust and can really relate to.”

Business Wire quotes Murad’s COO, Richard Murad, commenting on this new fragrance line.
